NAK80 plastic mould design can be accurate to the micron level, but in view of the accuracy of manufacturing equipment, can only control the error within the permissible range as the goal. NAK80 plastic moulds from processing and manufacturing to post heat treatment will produce dimensional errors, so if you need to manufacture precision plastic moulds, after heat treatment, you also need to grind EDM. However, the grinding workload is high, the intensity is high and improper operation causes unrecoverable mould defects, so the manufacturing errors of NAK80 plastic moulds are controlled by the following points.

1. In order to reduce the grinding workload, plastic mould steel can be made of steel with good hardenability and small deformation.

2. The use of inlay moulds, because each part is processed separately and independently, so it is easy to control and improve the processing accuracy.

3. The use of high precision CNC machine tools during the first stage of processing and manufacturing helps to reduce manufacturing errors.

4. Regular inspection during the machining process is also essential. Through advanced testing equipment at the end of the plastic mould stage of manufacture, its dimensions need to be tested in time to avoid exceeding the manufacturing error.

5. Control the processing process of plastic moulds. The accuracy error of the same mould varies greatly due to different processing processes. Only when the processing process is reasonably grasped before processing, can we ensure the mould processing accuracy is excellent.

The manufacturing accuracy of NAK80 plastic mould determines the accuracy of NAK80 plastic products, and in turn, the accuracy requirements of NAK80 plastic products also determine the accuracy of NAK80 plastic moulds that need to be considered when designing and manufacturing one or two levels higher than the accuracy of the products.
